What's Happening in Willcox

The Willcox Community Choir, directed by Gary Hatch, performs their summer concert at the Historic Theater. A beautiful evening of choral music featuring local voices from across Cochise County. Arrive early for good seats.

Willcox goes all out for the Fourth. The day starts with a parade through downtown, followed by food vendors, games, and community fun at City Park. The evening ends with a fireworks display at 9 PM. Bring chairs, blankets, and the whole family.

Apple Annie's opens their legendary corn maze, U-pick pumpkin patch, and fall activities from late August through October. Hayrides, apple picking, and the country store stocked with fresh pies and preserves. The biggest family event of the fall season.

The biggest wine event of the year in Willcox. All participating wineries across the AVA open their doors for special tastings, food pairings, live music, and vineyard tours. This is when Arizona wine country truly shines. Book accommodations early -- it fills up fast.

Every January, thousands of sandhill cranes descend on the Willcox Playa. The Wings Over Willcox festival celebrates with guided birding tours, photography workshops, nature talks, and field trips to prime viewing areas. One of the top birding events in the Southwest. Bring binoculars and warm layers.
